I think it doesn’t matter who will be in office come the start of 2025… We’ll be seeing an even worse Great Depression than they saw starting in 1929.

I’m 62. I grew up with family and friends who had personally experienced the Great Depression in California, Hawaii and Washington. Most of them had US Navy benefits and rations to rely on. A couple of them lived on base at no charge. My mom’s family owned a general grocery store with gas pumps. Food and gas were obviously not as plentiful, but never completely unavailable to them. They were even able to extend credit to their customers. Today, my family would have NONE of those resources/safeguards. Prepping is essential. Stocking canned food, vitamin supplements, otc meds, bottled water and a little cash at least.

The reason why people smell is bc aluminum in deodorant clogs your perspiration pores. I quit using deodorant in two weeks my pores were clean and never bought or smelled again. Sweat smells bad because it's all clogged up with aluminum under your armpits.

I am from South Africa. We moved from the city to a rural area. House and car paid off, no debt, got solar and are living frugal. Living off our land, growing our own vegetables and getting eggs from our chickens, wash in just a basin of water. Dont have mictowaves or extra electrical stuff just the fridge and tv. 2 plate gas stove and geyser. We also have a coal stove which we bake bread in. Loving my life!

We had a local feeder water main break. A city of over a million can't water out gardens... 3 min showers... only full loads of laundry as absolutely needed... if it is yellow let it mellow... the whole shabang. Water catchment is king here.

The problem with foraging is that if the supermarkets close, everyone will be foraging. In China they eat everything that crawls flies or swims because they had to during the revolution if they wanted to survive.

I'm a prepper & I have 4 years' worth of beef jerky VACUUM SEALED along with 5 to 7 years of everything else VACUUM SEALED. I even vacuum sealed about $40,000 cash and built it into the top 1/4" of several concrete structures around my homestead. I also have several seemingly apparent food and weapons stashes . . . All booby-trapped with high explosives. I live in a very rural setting, so take prepping seriously. Uninvited vositors are actually statistics unawares.

Love the common sense, old school wisdom you convey in your videos. I think your Spidey senses are accurate so preparing for the worst can't hurt! A bit off topic, but since I realize you are into e-bikes, I saw a job on Indeed for an e-bike reviewer/writer, but it is in St. George, Utah, so don't know if you want to leave Cali. Check it out...
